No, this isn't another random post... ;-)

I'm really worn out and I'm bored at work... terribleness. I only have about 45 minutes left and then I plan to go home and "try" to take a nap. Hopefully, I succeed. :) I started my week out with about 4 hours of sleep on Monday and I've decided that's not a wise idea. So...what I really need to do is go to bed early every night so I'm not tired at work. But I'm pretty sure that's not going to happen. There's just so much that I want to do when I get home that it seems crazy to go to bed at 10. I felt like I was getting a cold this morning so I think that's a sure sign that I really need more sleep... I usually feel like that if I haven't gotten enough sleep. Oh, I'm off tomorrow so that's exciting. :) Yay! Surely that means I get to sleep in? Nope, still have to go watch kids at 7. But at least I can go back home and sleep if I need to. :) For those of you wondering, I'm working Saturday and that's why I'm off tomorrow.

Well, what other exciting things have happened in my life lately... Hm, not really anything. ;-) Oh, I did donate blood last week. =) That was exciting! :) Yes, I just love getting stuck with needles. ;) Ok, so not really. :) I had been wanting to donate blood for awhile now and just never found where to go (I'm a little lazy sometimes :)). Then the Red Cross called while I was working in the office... they asked if I was a blood donor and when I said no, they hung up. Wow, just because I hadn't donated blood before surely doesn't mean you have to treat me like dirt! ;-) So, that's what made me decide to go and get rid of some of my awesome blood. ;-) I was afraid my iron would be too low, but thankfully, it wasn't. I think I surprised the lady that I wanted to watch her stick me and then when she sprayed blood all over the place she was surprised how well I took it (my blood was really dying to get out of me ;)). Blood really doesn't bother me that much and I think it's rather fascinating to watch a huge needle get stuck in you. :) Yeah, I know that's weird. It just makes me jealous that I can't do it. ;-) So, yep, I plan on giving as much blood as I can before I try to leave the country. :) I'm pretty sure you can't ever donate once you've been to Africa.

Dreaming of summer... :-)

Yes, I'm dreaming of summer. :) I love snow but I am really ready for 60-70 degree weather with blue skies, leaves on the trees, and flowers everywhere. I can't stand all this depressing weather we've been having. Not that it makes me depressed but it does get really dreary out. :) Winter seems to go by so slowly and yet summer is over with so quickly. Terribly lame... maybe I should move to Hawaii and live there most of the time, and then go to Switzerland for some snow, and anywhere else I feel like going. ;-) But I don't suppose I'll ever have enough money to do that. :) I must have gotten into the wrong career... should've been someone who travels the world, doing whatever it is they do. ;-)

Today was pretty much a boring day. Yeah, amazing... I have boring days. I get so used to being busy that when I have a day off, I really have no idea what to do with myself. :) WEIRD! ;-) Well, I wasn't too lazy today. I slept in (okay, that's lazy), but then I ran for 4 miles (that's definitely not lazy), and I practiced violin for almost 2 hours. Pretty good, if I do say so myself. :) I used to have such a hard time practicing for an hour and a half, and now I can play for 2 hours and still enjoy it! =) I guess it's because I don't really have to do any technique...it's just all music. =)
I never thought I would say this, but I really do miss having lessons and going to see the "teacher". ;) My teacher and I didn't get along too well since I would always tell him what I wanted to play, instead of just doing whatever he wanted. So, I never graduated from Book 7 because I didn't finish two songs out of the book. :-p I knew that I wouldn't be taking lessons for too much longer and so told my teacher what song I wanted to play... he finally let me. :) So, I was able to play a couple songs that I really wanted to. :) Of course, now I wish I hadn't given it up and was still taking lessons. I guess after taking for 7 years it's hard to just be totally done with it....

Well, tomorrow is Sunday, so I will go to church and then probably not do anything the rest of the day... I'll be preparing for another week of work. Exciting! ;)

Food! ;-)

I'm starving! Normally, I'm eating by now but a client is with Mary and so I wasn't sure if it would be totally rude if I were sitting at my desk stuffing my face. ;-) Ok, so I really don't stuff my face... :) I suppose I'll wait and hope that they don't stay too long. Food sounds so good right now. Oh, and Mary gave me chocolates! I love chocolate...they're pretty much my favorite thing. ;-) I have thought about trying not to eat chocolate for a whole week (just to see if I could), and so far I've not done it... I've just made it a couple days. Then I think I'm dying because of lack of chocolate. ;-) Hehe. I know I wouldn't die from lack of chocolate, but I might come really close. So, I figure there's no point in endangering myself. ;-)

Well, I had an awesome time with my family but I had to leave Sunday morning because we thought the snow might make the roads bad... It ended up not being that bad but it's better that I didn't try and wait till later when it could've been bad. Anyway, I got a few pictures and some video's that I'll try and post up someday. Notice I said someday....since I haven no idea when I'll get to it. :) Oooh, and there's one of Nate playing Dumb Song. :) He'll probably hate me if I put it up but it's so awesome sounding and he does a really good job for only having it for a little bit. =)

Oh, and I did an exciting thing and finally bought a laptop. :) Yay!! Well, I don't have it yet but it's ordered and now I just have to wait for it. I'm hoping it'll get here tomorrow but that might be wishful thinking. :) I ordered it Thursday night so maybe it'll be here. :)

I took an evening shift tonight so I'll be leaving work early and heading over to Vandiver to work. :) At least there's not supposed to be a ton of snow like last week...that was really not fun to drive an ambulance with slick roads. Thankfully, I didn't have any trouble driving in it and we didn't have to transport anyone. :)

Well, forget the whole rude thing! I'm going to stuff my face anyway!... and if someone doesn't like it they can... well, I don't know what they can do. ;-)

So....What to talk about. ;-) Oh, I'm going home today! Very exciting. =) I'll get to see all of my nieces again, which is totally awesome. And of course, my wonderful family. :) And, if everything works out this afternoon, I'm hoping to be home for dinner. Yay for food!! ;-) What can I say? I really love food. ;) Hehe

I'm a little bored right now... not much is happening and I've finished everything that Mary needed me to. So, I'm sitting here...not singing. I've already done that. I actually was wondering how thin the walls are? Cause I can sometimes hear our neighbors talking and so I wonder if they've heard me singing. How embarrassing!! Well, as long as I never have to meet them then it shouldn't be too embarrassing. ;-) Oh, speaking of embarrassing moments...or should I say, "blond" moment. ;-) Earlier this week I was working on the ambulance and got off work at 11, with my car totally covered in snow. Totally lame, but that's not the point. So, M goes out to brush off my car since I didn't have any gloves and she said I should stay inside (of course I didn't listen), and when I couldn't open my door, B comes over to open it for me. And when he failed to get it open that's when I realized that it's really a good idea to unlock the door before attempting to open it. Yeah, so that's why I have blond highlights, and why I get laughed at all the time. =) I did laugh at myself though. Sometimes it amazes me how dumb I am. :-)

Work....yet again.

Man! It stinks like smoke, it's cold, I'm dead tired, and I'm really wanting the cupcakes that are sitting at home. What a day... and it's not even over yet. Oh well... I certainly won't die from lack eating cupcakes. I ate like a million last night. ;-)

So, I think I should seriously try and get to bed at a decent hour (10:00) tonight....cause I am way tired and feel like falling asleep at my desk...and my stupid head is bothering me. And I've found out that there is no point in trying to take a nap because I can never fall asleep and it just makes me frustrated. Why is it that the only time you can fall asleep would be while you're at work? Totally lame...

Haha, so it's taken me an hour to write two paragraphs. :) Isn't that terribly rotten.... Ok, so not really. I've been working and that's my excuse for slow writing. =)

An awesome weekend and it's back to work. :-)

It's lunch time yet again and I'm posting at work. :) I was singing but than someone came in so that has shut me up for awhile... and because it's terribly hard to sing and write at the same time. ;-) Maybe some of you are able to but my brain doesn't work that way.

I had a wonderful weekend and it's sad that it's already over. I got a few pictures of the girls that I will try and post up but it may be awhile. :) Hannah, Jacob, and the girls got here Friday afternoon and that evening we sat around and didn't really do anything. :) Except talk a lot. =) Saturday, us girls went to the movies, had coffee, and went to Wal-Mart. :) Then that evening we all went out to dinner at a Japanese steakhouse...which the little girls were fascinated by. :) Sunday, we went to church, had lunch, brought home Cold Stone Creamery, and then the rest of the day was spent watching movies, talking, and eating...the guys played video games while the girls watched movies. =)
Abigail and Bethany are growing up so fast and they seem to get cuter every time I see them! And no, I'm not just a prejudiced aunt. ;-) Abigail is talking so well and it's hilarious to hear the things she says. :) Bethany is just a little chunk and as cute as can be! :) She's crawling really well and was very excited to be crawling up the stairs. :)

Well, I'm working till 2:30 and then I'll head over to the base and work from 3 till 11. So, today is rather a busy day but I've been drinking my coffee so I should be able to make it through without falling sleep. ;-) The weather is supposed to get yucky later so I'm sure my shift will be very busy...hopefully we'll have time to eat dinner or something. It's always a bummer to miss dinner because you're running calls like there's no tomorrow. ;-) I don't think I've ever actually missed a dinner, it's just been later than I normally eat... but I have missed lunch a couple times. Haha, so last week I was told I looked "vibrant" in my uniform. :) Last Thursday, I came in the office (while working on the ambulance) to pick up my coat that I had left. Mary saw me and said the next day that I looked vibrant in my uniform and looked so happy. :) I really do love working on the ambulance. I love the excitement of everything, and when you get along really well with your partner it's always a plus. :)

Only an hour left and I leave for job #2. :) Time to warm up my coffee. ;-)

It's lunch time!!! Ok, so I'm not really that excited about it. =)
I am sitting at work with nothing to do and wondering how I'm supposed to fill up the next 4 hours. There's no music and I really might go insane... I work better if I have music playing and it really helps during the times when you have nothing to do. Of course, then I might start singing and I don't think Mary (my boss) would probably enjoy that too much. ;-) She's out on her lunch break right now so I have been singing to myself and talking. Yes, I talk to myself. =) But who doesn't when you're sitting all by yourself and no one's around? :-) This morning hasn't been too busy... I prepared 7 tax returns, answered phone calls, filed papers, mailed letters, and shredded paper. I think this afternoon I'll be entering a few things in QuickBooks, but mostly I'll be answering the phone. I always hated answering the phone at home and now I'm always talking on the phone and then calling people.... the best is when telemarketers call and I get to hang up on them. ;) It's so fun! Hehe. I really do enjoy the small things in life. =D

Oh, on a different note... Hannah, Jacob, and the girls are coming up to visit this weekend! :) I'm so excited!! I love spending time with the girls and only wished they lived closer so I could spoil them like any aunt should. ;-) They really are missing out by not spending more time with me... :) They're supposed to be coming up Friday after I'm done working and then stay till either Sunday or Monday. We're going to have so much fun! =)

Ok, I wrote the above over an hour ago and I've now finished with QuickBooks. Boy, was that hard! Whoever wrote the checks I was having to read did a terrible job and I really couldn't understand what any of them said. Well, I knew Wal-Mart but that was about it. Crazy people that make life confusing for the rest of us. ;-)
